Hello everyone, it’s Paula🙋!!!! I’m posting a great activity intended for 2nd grade of primary about the “water cycle”. I really hope you like it and find it useful... 😀
TOPIC
💦The
Water Cycle 💦
CONTEXT
· -This session
is intended for students 2nd of primary
· -The students have learned previously that the "Water
Cycle" consists in The Sun heating up the water from oceans, lakes and
rivers and water changes into water vapor by the process of evaporation. As
the water vapor rises up into the air, it starts cooling down and forms tiny
water droplets.
These water droplets come together to form clouds. This process
is called condensation when the clouds start getting heavy and cannot
hold the water droplets any longer; they fall back to the earth in the form of
rain, hail or snow. This process is called precipitation. Some of the water that falls on the earth seeps into
the ground. This water is available to us in the form of groundwater.
The remaining water falls back into oceans, lakes, rivers and seas. This process is called collection. Then, the sun starts heating up this water once again. This circulation of water is called water cycle.

Thank you Paula for this post. I think this post is very useful, as a teacher, to work the water cycle with our students. This post is very complete because you explain perfectly the pre, the task, the post of task and assessment of this project. In addition, your objectives are clear and specifics for these activities.
ReplyDeleteI can observe that, you use the scaffolding methods to introduce the topic and it is good learning process for the students.
I like your project because the students work in a collaborative group. I think, it is good and important to activate their abilities and awaken them.
This is a great methodology to involve students in their own learning process. So, they can interact with their classmates and learn from their knowlodge.
I will use it for my Science class. :):)
